We are currently looking for 3 positions.

Conservatory Blinds Fitter

Fulltime position. Blind Technique mainly specialises in Conservatory Blinds, as well as Plantation Shutters, Awnings and Window Blinds. We are looking for a full-time fitter for these blinds and shutters. You must have good communication skills and work well as part of a small team. Experience is a definite advantage, though not essential, as training will be provided.

Applicants should be:

  • Able to drive with a full no restrictions EU License.
  • Familiar and competent with metric measurements.
  • Able to work as part of a team and individually, using initiative as necessary.
  • Good time keepers with business awareness.
  • Able to deal politely and professionally with customers both face to face and over the phone.
  • Well presented.
  • Installation of these products can be physically demanding and as such applicants must be in good health.

Normal hours Tuesday to Saturday 8am - 5:00pm but with some earlier starts and some evenings as required by the fitting schedule. We are possibly able to offer Monday to Friday for the right applicant as long as some Saturdays are made available for fitting.

Remuneration. Good salary paid monthly and use of company vehicle. Further details on application.

Sales Advisor/Blinds Fitter

Full-time or possible Part-time position. Blind Technique mainly specialises in Conservatory Blinds, as well as Plantation Shutters, Awnings and Window Blinds. We are looking for somebody who is able to sell as well as fit these blinds and shutters. As this is a new position, the job role will be flexible with regard to sales and installation as is necessary for the business. You must have good communication skills and work well as part of a small team. Experience is a definite advantage, though not essential, as training will be provided.

Applicants should be:

  • Able to drive with a full no restrictions EU License.
  • Familiar and competent with metric measurements.
  • Able to work as part of a team and individually, using initiative as necessary.

Sales Advisor/Blind Manufacturer

Part-time possible future Full-time position. Blind Technique mainly specialises in Conservatory Blinds, as well as Plantation Shutters, Awnings and Window Blinds. We are looking for somebody who is able to work in our new showroom advising and helping customers in the sale of blinds, shutters & awnings. The role will additionally include the manufacture of Roman and Vertical Blinds in the showroom at non-busy times for which full training will be given. You must have excellent communication skills, a flair for interior decoration and work well alone and as part of a small team. Sales experience is a definite advantage, though not essential, as training will be provided.

Applicants should be:

  • Well presented.
  • Able to deal politely and professionally with customers both face to face and over the phone.
  • Enthusiatic and helpful, confident in pricing and selling our range of products.
  • Familiar and competent with metric measurements.
  • Able to work as part of a team and individually, using initiative as necessary.
  • Good time keepers with business awareness.

Part-time hours to be agreed though may consist of either mornings or afternoons, certain week days and Saturdays.

Remuneration. Good hourly rate according to experience.
