Velux Venetian Blinds are a great choice for kitchens and bathrooms due to the heat resistant aluminium material and resistance to humidity. On your Velux window there is a code which will tell us exactly the size of blind you require, starting with a three letter code beginning with a G or V followed by another code for example GGL S05. If you can check this code first it will help us to help you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can Velux or Keylite blinds be installed without a ladder or scaffolding?

    Velux and Keylite blinds are usually installed from within the property so the need for a ladder, let alone scaffolding, is rare. They would only be required if the skylight is especially high up or in a hard to get to place.

  • Can I have Velux blinds on my non-Velux windows?

    Unfortunately not. Velux blinds are especially designed for Velux windows. On the upside, we make bespoke blinds and offer solutions for many a uniquely shaped skylight or roof lantern, taking your needs for the room (light, privacy, temperature) into consideration.

  • Will my skylight blinds be motorised or manual?

    As skylights can be hard to reach, while you can thrash about with a pole if you wish, you may find it easier to opt for a motorised blind controlled by a remote control or switch instead for your skylight blind.  However, when it comes to Velux windows, they will need to be powered already. A manually operated Velux window cannot have a motorised blind.
