John Pink (owner) has over 40 years’ experience in the blinds industry. He started as an electro-pneumatic engineer for heavy press machinery which was used in the clothing industry. This was adapted in the 70’s for printing fabrics specifically for the growing window blinds industry. John was originally involved in the design of fabric pleating machines as well as the development of high spec fabrics to both reflect and retain heat. We locally manufacture conservatory and window blinds from the same family of fabrics today.
His son Richard joined him when Blind Technique was set up in 2004 and since then we have grown from a small company that only offered conservatory blinds, to offering a full and comprehensive range of blinds, shutters and awnings. We continue to specialise in conservatory blinds and we always aim to offer you the very best in quality, service and aftercare.
