How Do Window Shutters Work?
When we say configuration, we mean the way in which the shutter panels will open. Our bespoke plantation shutters aren't just available in one style, there are various combinations you can choose to tailor the windo shutter blinds to your home. To give you an idea of what we can offer, below are some of the more common opening configurations.
Panel Config L
One single door that hinges on the left and opens to the left.
Panel Config R
One single door that hinges on the right and opens to the right.
Panel Config LR
Doors that hinge one to the right and one to the left.
Panel Config LL
Two bi-fold bespoke plantation shutters that open to the left. This can also be RR with the two bi-folds opening to the right.
Panel Config LLR
Two bi-fold window shutter blinds that open to the left and a single door to the right. This can also be LRR with the single door opening to the left and the two bi-folds opening to the right.
Panel Config LLRR
Two bi-fold shutters that open to the left and two bi-fold doors that open to the right.
Panel Config LRTLR
Two shutters that open left and right, a t-post and then two shutters that open left and right.
Panel Config LTLTL
One window shutter blind opening to the left, a t-post, one shutter opening to the left, a t-post, one shutter opening to the left. This can be reversed with right opening RTRTR
